There is no general purpose smart contract VM. What this chain does is transfers, staking, governance and IBC.

About the keyring

--keyring-backend test leaves keys in plaintext on disk. Do not use it on a validator. Use the file backend, set the key directory to 700, and keep it outside any path a web server can read.
